BACKGROUND

About a year ago, I started working on a musical tie-in for my Under the Bridge series. While plugging away at this, the music creation bug latched onto me something fierce. That led to a side project, where I recorded a full-length music album. I named the fictional artist Lucia De Paz, which in Spanish refers to ‘light of peace.’ That’s a decent encapsulation of the musical tone, which is a mostly acoustic, singer-songwriter vibe. For my part, I wrote all the lyrics, treating them as journal entries for things personal or meaningful. After writing the lyrics, I hired musicians to record the songs, then I hired a singer to perform the vocals. What follows is our collaboration, which I hope you find valuable!
